Fall Cooking

     It's that time of year again! Since it's fall, I am going to make an easy (and fun) dish. This dish is called Party Tacos. This is one of my favorites, and I hope it becomes your favorite too.
          Party Tacos*
Ingredients:
- 3 lb lean(at least 80%) ground beef
-2 large onions,chopped
-2 packages(1 oz each) Old El Paso taco seasoning mix
-1 1/2 cups Old El Paso Thick 'n' Chunky salsa
-1 cup water
-3 boxes(4.7 oz each) Old El Paso Stand 'n' Stuff taco shells
Layered Taco Toppings
Ingredients:
- 3 (11 oz) cans Green Giant Steam Crisp Niblets Whole Kernal Sweet Corn, drained
- 1 (10 oz) pkg. (5 1/2 cups) shredded lettuce
- 2 cups chopped red, yellow and/or green bell pepper
-1/2 cup sliced green onions
- 2 cups chopped Italian plum tomatoes
- 1 medium avocado, pitted, peeled and chopped
-1 cup mayonnaise
-1/2 cup Old El Paso Salsa
- 8 oz. (2 cups) finely shredded Mexican cheese blend
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Directions
1) Cook ground beef in 2 batches. For first batch, spray 12-inch skillet with cooking spray. Add half of the ground beef and 1 chopped onion. Cook over medium heat 8-10 minutes or until beef is thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain.
2) Stir in 1 package taco seasoning mix, 3/4 cup salsa and 1/2 cup water. Reduce heat to low; simmer 8-10 minutes or until most of liquid is absorbed.
3) Cool first batch of beef mixture 15 minutes. Spoon into refrigarator or freezer container; cover tightly. Repeat to make second batch. Serve immediately, or refrigerate up to 24 hours or freeze up to 1 week.
4) To serve immediately, place beef mixture in slow cooker; keep warm on Low setting. If beef mixture is frozen, thaw before heating. Place beef  mixture in slow cooker; cover and cook on High for 1 hour or until hot. Reduce heat to Low to keep warm. To serve, spoon beef mixture into taco shells. Top with Layered Taco Toppings.
To Make Layered Taco Toppings
1) Heat oven to 425 F. Spray 15x10x1 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Dry corn on paper towels; spread corn in sprayed pan. Bake at 425 F for 15 minutes. Stir; bake an additional 10 minutes. Cool 5 minutes or until slightly cooled.
2) In ungreased 13x9 inch( 3-quart) glass baking dish, layer lettuce, bell pepper, roasted corn, onions, tomatoes and avocado.
3) In small bowl, combine mayonnaise and salsa: mix well. Spread over vegetables. Sprinkle with cheese and cilantro. Cover tightly; refrigarate at least 2 hours or overnight.

The Beautiful Cat: The Snow Leopard

Have you ever heard of the beautiful animal called the panthera uncia, also known as the snow leopard? Well these are one of the worlds most beautiful large cats in the world. But because of their beauty they have been hunted to near extinction. There are only a few thousand snow leopards left in existence and they are still being poached to their beautifully fine coats and their organs rich with nutrition and healthy supplements when used in traditional Chinese medicine. They were also hunted to the killing of domestic animals which made herders upset, which led to the killings of these cats. Due to the lack of snow leopards in the wild they are a very rare sight, and you should count yourself luck if you ever find one of these beautiful creatures.

Now that I have gotten past the horrible truth of the diminishing population of the snow leopards, I can now talk about the beauty, power, and habitat of the snow leopards. Snow leopards have fine gray fur that is well insolated. They need this insolation when living on the steepest of mountains in Asia.

Snow leopards have very strong legs do to the amount of trekking they have to do up and down the Asian mountain ranges. Their legs are so well trained that they are able to jump 50 feet into the air. In addition to using their legs to help them, snow leopards have learned to use their own tail as a blanket to cover sensitive spots from the cold of the mountain ranges.

The main source of food for snow leopards is mammals. Even though the snow leopard can take down mammals three times bigger than it, it mainly feeds on mountain goats, but if the snow leopard is feeling a bit adventures it will travel off the mountain and hunt marmots, game birds, and hares.

In conclusion these animals should be kept safe, and there are many teams that are trying to protect them like the Wildlife Conservation Study. All I would like for you to do is get the word out about the beautiful animals, and together we can stop poaching. Now look at the beauty of this animal below in the picture.

My top 10 video games

     Coming in at number 10 is a Nintendo Wii game this is The Bigs. This game made it on the list for its motion control base running, pitching, and fielding. The game’s down fall is its nonresponsive motion controls, extremely hard campaign mode, and out of date graphics have make the ten spot.

  Next at 9 is a PlayStation 2 game. Guitar hero made it into the 9 spot because of its new spin on video games by having a guitar shaped controller with 5 buttons red, green, yellow, orange, and blue. Its downfall is the insanely hard hard mode and impossible extreme mode.

Number 8 is Infinity Blade 2 from the apple app store. This game has insanely good graphics great game play, and a terrific backstory. The main flaw of this game is its circular gameplay there are only 5 bosses with 3 extremely hard mini bosses that only give you a set of armor that raises your attack by only 200. Although the game is fun the game map gets old very quick.

Number 7 is Sly Cooper 3 for the PlayStation 2 this game is a continuation on the immensely popular Sly Cooper series this game already has its reputation of sneaking around enemy bases trying to find a way to defeat the leader and collecting 30 bottles to get a special move in each over world. The only flaw I can find in this game is that you don’t get to see much of the new characters in the game.

Coming at number 6 is Pilotwings Resort for the Nintendo3ds this is a release title for the 3ds and has a 3d effect option if wanted. The problem is when you get about halfway through the game it becomes near impossible to get to the next tier of levels.

The number 5 spot goes to Portal 2 for the PC. This game has another great backstory but this game is a puzzle game with death traps, lasers, and even military grade turrents. The downfall of the game is that it’s short I beat it in half an hour so the game is very short if me one of the worst puzzle game players beat it that quickly.

Number 4 is dead rising 2 this game is a zombie game with almost any weapon you can imaging held together with duct tape. The pure mass of zombies is bad because that could make the game slow down or freeze.

Number 3 is Call of duty modern warfare 3 this game made it to the 3 spot for the new special operations chaos mode which is a good way to get multiple achievements at once. The games downfall is its old 2009 graphics.

Number 2 is Infamous 2 this sequel to Infamous has a better story in the story mode and better attacks they improved almost every aspect about the game the two problems are that the game doesn’t have many side missions and requires you to know what you are doing to actually beat the game.

The best game is Team Fortress 2 This game made it to the number 1 spot because of its face paced multiplayer and co-op experiences. The only thing the game could use is a bit of a tune up to help fix the lag.

There are allot of top 5 lists out there but i feel like making one right now so here you have it :TOP 5 TOP 5 LISTS

Duct tape can be made into even HATS! imagine what else it could make.

On blogger there could be blog about anything. imagine what weird and awesome blogs you would find! blog about noodles *cough neotic blog cough*, a blog with a mullet, one with answers about English.

     With games ranging from the artistic puzzle games of level 5 developers to the si-fi detail of bungie .
you could have a list a mile long if you grouped it by genra.

Blog Ideas.

Some ideas for blog posts are:

• Write about past experiences 

Such as like interesting things that happened when you played a sport or just some childhood memories. Just let people know what you've accomplished in your life or just some fun things you have done.

• Give advice

Teach your reader how to deal with things or how to get down a new skill. (skating, dancing, skiing, singing etc. Maybe even just tell how you dealt with a situation such as going from 7th grade to 8th grade.

• Give your opinion

Tell your reader about some good movies, songs, books, or just your own thoughts and opinion over any topic.

• California's society. Good? or Bad?

Write a post about whats happened recently , or just how the society is. Write some interesting ideas/creations. Give some good news about whats happened recently maybe even give some bad, and discuss which one over rules the other.

• Things to do before you kick the bucket

Give a list of fun things to do that aren't everyday things. Just put everything out there that could make you smile, have fun, or just some places that can make you feel that there is more to life. YOLO.

• How to tell someone you like them

Yes we are at a young age and most likely are just wasting our time with relationships but it brings more excitement into our lives. But most people or children don't know how to tell the person they like that they have a crush on them so if you have experience with relationships and know how to get with someone then you should share your knowledge with others and give people advice from experience.

• Pictures

If a picture is worth a thousand words then name some and describe the picture or just talk about a picture.

• Creativity

Post interesting things don't just post facts all the time or stuff straight from the article , add your own style and express yourself in your writing. You want others to be interested in your article, if your a creative person or have a wide imagination show that represent yourself as you are. You want to keep your posts interesting. blogging isn't all about answering articles straight up like if someone asks, "Do you like school?" & you just say, "No" your going to sound plain explain why tell what caused you to dislike school. Be creative

What do the people who do your nails actually say ?

          So on Saturday my sister decided to get her nails done . So we are driving and we spot the nail salon and she is getting her pedicure done and the lady who was doing her nails and the lady next to her were talking really fast and was probably from somewhere in Asia because of the way they were speaking. So I was thinking the entire time when my sister was getting her nails done what the ladies were probably saying and here is a list about the possible things I thought they was saying

• Oh I'm going to do an excellent job on her pedicure.
• She really needed this pedicure.
• I'm tired so I might mess up.
• So what are you making tonight.
• She messed up on her manicure.
• So when is your break.
• Keep paying attention to you patient.

I've heard many bad stories about people's manicure like my teacher last year bad story won't forget that one. well she said she got her nails done and then when she got them off she got an inffection or fungus or something like that like this one teenage girl

 This site did not help me much, I mean it was a good written piece but i like to use my ideas rather than another persons. While I did use that site i feel that my ideas may help the teacher think of new things to right about in the future. Hopefully he will take at least one of my ideas into consideration.
